Award has been given out unofficially by the fans for years to each preseason's most hyped players Washington Redskins Hoodie , but now we've made it official, and will bring it to a vote. Johnson has been making plays throughout camp, and is expected to shine in the preseason. Many people have him as a sleeper for the last spot in the secondary. His hype is on the rise.OLB Pete RobertsonPete Robinson as most fans still call him will make people remember his name in the preseason. Robinson is another player that gets official hype from his head coach, and from fellow players including his cousin Trent Williams. Robinson will push to have the team keep a 5th OLB this year.WR Maurice HarrisIs Harris still eligible for this award after being in 16 games for the Redskins over his two year career? Hell yes he is. 12 career catches and the best TD catch of the season last year hasn’t knocked him out of the Hype! awards just yet. Harris was an UDFA two years ago and was cut before last season started. He wasn’t activated until November, but his believers have faith that he should be getting a lot more playing time. Over the first couple of days at Training Camp, the Redskins secondary unit has been one of the most exciting position groups to watch. The safety and cornerback group, specifically the starting unit, has been in unison consistently throughout practice. Of course, everything has not been perfect, but the key to the solid start to training camp has been communication. On the sideline during full team scrimmages, D.J. Swearinger can be heard communicating possibilities and expectations pre-snap to Montae Nicholson which allows the free safety Nicholson to play faster. The communication is also a top-down approach, where it starts from the safety and trickles down to cornerback and so-forth. Josh Norman and Quinton Dunbar have taken reps as the outside cornerback, while Orlando Scandrick has been at slot and Fabian Moreau played at both cornerback positions. Nicholson Washington Redskins Womens T-Shirt , preparing for his second year in the NFL, spoke about the communication aspect among the secondary unit, saying that in 2018 they are overemphasizing it in practice and the film room. It is something that Nicholson even acknowledged they lacked in the past, saying they did not do enough of it and the objective is to communicate better and more often. So far, things are looking good for the unit, as they have forced numerous coverage sacks and errant throws by quarterback Alex Smith and the starting offense in camp.
